Growth Reflection

I feel as though this class went by so fast. Before taking this RC1000 Expository Writing class, I thought my writing efficiency was almost without error. This class helped me to understand that there are many things that I still need to work on, like proper formatting and in text citations, for example. I was able to practice this throughout the process of writing papers and completing weekly writing assignments, so I am very grateful for that. I am excited to continue my writing next year when I take RC2000, and I intend on always doing my best to become a better writer. I really do believe that I grew so much while being a student in this class, and I am excited to take what I have learned and move forward.

It did not feel right to finish this portfolio without sharing a quick thank you to my professor, Bekah Ballard. Thank you for your in depth feedback on my submissions, I read every single one and really did attempt to adjust and make improvement based off of the constructive criticism. Thank you for responding to emails so quickly and for being understanding and respectful of your student's personal and academic lives outside of your classroom, you would be surprised how many other professors are not like that. Thank you for your detailed descriptions in class of assignments, and for your efforts to make your class fun and informative. Your hardwork did not go unnoticed. Thank you!
